Sonic Spinball speed run [14:39]

This is my Sonic Spinball speedrun in 14 minutes and 39 seconds, as timed from pressing Start to begin the game to landing the final hit on the Showdown boss.

This time is possible thanks to a new trick found by Big Jon, in which you go straight to the top of the Machine and enter the boss room in a certain way, causing the game to drop you in the wrong place when trying to throw you out. This allows me to fight the boss with no emeralds at all (although I get one as a safe way of getting to the left side of the board), saving well over a minute.

Unfortunately, there are many factors at play that we don't fully understand as to why and when this trick even works (it appears to work roughly a quarter of the time even when getting the input correct), which makes grinding this game even worse than it already was. As such, unless consistency of that trick spikes dramatically, I don't plan on improving this.
